It happen on a late Sunday, myself and The Socialite DJ got to spin a set for Rock House. We had the opportunity to spin pop, and a little bit of Rock & Roll. Of course we did it with a twist of our own style. Now while getting paid is always a good thing, we had the opportunity to taste some of Rock House’s well known dishes. Of course we waited until our gig was over. I was surprised that the food didn’t have that bar food taste. You know the bar food taste. LOL
It had a unique flavor and well, when you yourself get a chance to go to Rock House and order something like the Philly Cheese Steak which is a grilled steak with peppers, onions, mushrooms, and Swiss cheese on a whole or wheat bun. And if your from upstate you’ll probably think, “damn Rock House is on point”. You’ll understand why when you meet Chef Andre.
He’s a native Philly guy. But his background is anything but typical. Seriously with Rock Star attitude.
Chef attitude Chef Andre is always daring something new at Rock House to cook up on. Like The Rock Out with your Guac Out challenge, that he created. A 4 pound steak burrito. Which is Carne Asada, pic de Gallo, sautéed onions, green chills, cheddar cheese, fries and lettuce wrapped in 3-12 inches of flour tortillas and topped with sour cream and guacamole. And by the way the Philly Cheese Steak is a signature dish of theirs amongst others as well.
Chef Andre also has an unbelievable amount of awards and a really impressive background. As my fiancé The Socialite DJ found out while interviewing him on her show ‘Social Status’.
But as I said earlier, you’ll have to go and taste the perfection for yourself. Rock House has the perfect chef for the job, a chef with a Rock Star cuisine service.
