I haven’t lived the most adventurous food life. I’ve been very sheltered when it comes to food. My family cooked, I ate, and if not, I eat what I know. When going to restaurants I look for familiar ingredients before ordering. I know I know, call me scary, lol. Especially if I see a whole lot of stuff on the plate and I don’t know exactly how they’re going to all taste together. We all have different taste buds that has been trained different ways. Like, I don’t eat pork, I don’t really like foods that make your breathe stink.
But I enjoyed the heck out of the food at The Bronze Café located inside The Market over on Freemont. I had the Benedict Arnold. Now looking at the name, I was a little worried. I didn’t want my food to turn on me. (lol) But, it was delicious, and it honestly has me excited to try more of their foods on the menu. The Benedict Arnold was eggs, with sweet potatoes, mushrooms, corn, chickpeas, and topped off with a sweet sauce. Man was it good. It was sweet, and had the right balance with all the veggies. Definitely a great go to for brunch with or without the hangover!
